						<p>Surgical treatment of scoliosis is definitely indicated for a Cobb angle &gt;50 degrees, but in some cases that would also hold true for patients w/ a Cobb angle &gt; 40 degrees.</p>
<p>For the pediatric boards exam, if they test this subject, you would see a Cobb angle &gt; 50 degrees.</p>
