I just tried the prometric drive exam. It included, “type in”the answer to the question or fill the blank type of question. Do you know if the real exam have any other type of question beside multiple choice? thank you for your feed back
October 9, 2012 at 3:41 pm #325I would be absolutely shocked to find out that any of the questions were fill in the blank type of answers. The sample test that the ABP has available is for the pediatric MOC exam, NOT the initial certification exam. I just ran through it and did not see any fill in the blank questions.
Here is the link – https://www.abp.org/abpwebsite/moc/ABP%20Demo/index.htm
Please make sure you went to the right place.
Also, know that there are FOUR sections for the pediatric initial certification exam (not 2). You have more breaks.
Also, KNOW the software, the table, the shortcuts, the ABP policies, etc. so that you can skip all of that on the big day and use that time for BREAKS. —> HUGE TIP!
Good luck.

May 6, 2013 at 6:09 am #455TOPIC= INITIAL PRACTICE TEST
1) I really like to do a short practice test before I begin studying. The following link did not work for me, however:f

I sent an message to abp, have not heard back yet. Any other suggestions?
2) I wonder how many hours and weeks I should set aside for studying if I have never failed a test before I think I overstudied last time, and would like more balance in my pre-test months this time round. I am not that efficient but very disciplined.

June 3, 2013 at 9:52 am #456It looks like they’ve changed their link!
It’s now https://www.prometric.com/en-us/clients/ABP/Tutorials/ABPBasicTutorial/index.htm
Just know that it’s not a TRUE practice test. It’s just meant to help you understand the user interface. It’s only about 5 questions… NO answers.
Best,
