Hi. I just returned from Coach Peggy’s two day course. It was a real eye opener for me. She helped me break down the questions. Doing them like puzzles. She made me realize my bad habits in answering questions. I would “but if”, miss simple English words like screen or confirm, over focus on one item in the question, etc… To be aware of these simple mistakes, is huge for me. It is going to take practice for me.
It was totally worth the expense, time and travel. Wish I had known this even before med school. She gets this. I liked her a lot.

Hey Sheila! You are correct. That is a typo in the study guide. The hip is externally rotated in SCFE. The patient will not let us internally rotate, it hurts. That’s why when they come in with knee pain, we always log roll the leg.
